Wines and typical products of Crotone will be presented and promoted at the 43rd Douja D’Or in Asti during the “Tastes and Traditions from the Province of Crotone” evening, organised by the Crotone Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with the Asti Chamber of Commerce and ONAV (National Wine Tasters Association).
The evening, taking place tomorrow Friday 18 September at Asti’s Auditorium del Palazzo del Collegio, will involve a presentation of the area and guided tastings of some wines accompanied by typical products from Crotone.
The evening will also see Raffaele Lucà, Vice president of the Crotone Chamber of Commerce, take part. “The organisation of a tasting evening entirely dedicated to some of the best products Crotone has to offer,” commented Lucà, “goes towards the promotion of quality local products, something to which the chamber of commerce has always been highly committed. The context in which the wines and other products will be presented, namely a prestigious event such as la Douja d’Or, is a testament to the importance of the goals achieved. The quality of our wines, improved thanks to synergy with producers and the plant health assistance project for winegrowers offered each year by the Chamber of Commerce, now needs to be valorised through special attention to marketing and sales for the effective promotion of the same”.
