L’assegnazione dei contributi, autorizzati in sede comunitaria, e messi a bando dall’Agensud, consentirà ai consorzi di tutela selezionati di promuovere, in Italia e all’estero, le peculiarità dei prodotti, nonchè favorire l’aggregazione tra produttori. Si tratta di un’iniziativa, prevista dalla legge 231 del 2005, già sperimentata in passato e fortemente attesa dagli operatori del settore e costituisce un significativo segnale di attenzione del governo per la promozione delle produzioni italiane di qualità, eccellenze del paese, e per l’agricoltura in generale. I ventisei soggetti selezionati riceveranno un finanziamento di 400.000 euro da spendere in un biennio.
